Hill House and Richard Taunton join ACoRNS

ACoRNS warmly welcomes Hill House School, based in Lymington, and Richard Taunton College in Southampton to the network. Hill House School is a specialist education provision for students aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism, including 52-week residential provision. Louisa Burden, Deputy Head, and Kirsty Marsden, Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, are delighted to be joining ACoRNS:

‘We have been so excited about the work that we have already done with the University…We would see this as an opportunity to continue to develop our links and our provision’.

Dr Hilra Vinha (a graduate of the University of Southampton) is the Learning Support Co-ordinator at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College and is working with us to develop a bespoke transition programme for students as part of our widening participation initiative. We’ll be piloting this next academic year and look forward to providing an update in due course. Exciting stuff!
