Celebrating the successes of ACoRNS students!

Many congratulations to our ACoRNS students who have either been recognised for their contributions through the award of prizes, or have been awarded their Doctorates:

Chloe East received a commendation for outstanding presentation at the Psychology PGR conference . Chloe was talking about her research on the experiences of transitions of autistic girls and the creation of her Fizzacc group which you can read more about here.

Verity Ward received a Director’s Award at the recent Doctoral College Director’s Awards 2022 for ‘contributions to research, public engagement & supporting PGRs’.

Lynn De La Fosse has been awarded her DEdPsych after successfully defending her thesis titled: ‘How Professionals Support the Education of Care Experienced Children in England, Including Those on the Autism Spectrum’.

Stephanie Lewis has also been awarded her DEdPsych after successfully defending her thesis titled: ‘Eliciting the Voices of Children and Young People with Complex Needs: Identifying Innovative Methods and Using Digital Stories for Supporting Transitions’
