Join ACoRNS for our 5th Festival of Social Science event

On Wednesday 9th November 4pm-6pm, ACoRN@Southampton and ACoRN@Sussex will present a joint webinar for the ESRC Festival of Social Science. The event, “Our Stories: digital methods for supporting transitions of autistic children and young people”, will showcase research which further develops an innovative methodological approach – Digital Stories – to support autistic children and young people in transitional processes. Digital Stories are short, co-created videos that enable the participation of children and families so that important information about the child and about the spaces or places to which they are transitioning can be shared.

The webinar will feature speakers including Kate Buckingham from Springwell School in Southampton, and Dr Samantha Holt from the University of Sussex. This event will showcase how the Digital Stories approach has been used in different transitions including: moving from Y6 to Y7 and meeting health care professionals.

You can sign up to this online event through our Eventbrite page.

The event will be recorded. Attendees will receive a digital delegate pack which will contain resources, a certificate of participation and a link to the event recording.
